His face looks like someone who had to come into work on their day off, so he’s working angry. He REALLY didn’t wanna be here, but he needs the OT.
As one of the people who were complaining about Okada getting boring after the pandemic, I really love his current persona. Straight babyface Okada just doesn’t work. I don’t think even him likes being the hero all the time.
This feels more of a logical continuation of the smug rainmaker, and I’m here for it.
He’s becoming so much like Jumbo Tsuruta imo, the All Japan Ace of the 80’s and one of the GOATS for Puro; seeing Okada beat down the up and coming young boys reminds me of Jumbo’s beatdowns of Misawa, Kawada, and Kobashi.

I honestly hope this new Okada arc turns into a Jumbo Tsuruta-esque character. Kaito becomes his Misawa, eventually beating him in New Japan for the heavyweight title through a series of battles over multiple years

Love douchebag Okada. NJPW’s storytelling has really jumped to a new level in 2023.
Bullykada is really great. He was stale for years but this new character is one of the best things i’ve ever seen. Makes sense with him tho. He was a cocky young guy, now he’s the bully veteran.
He’s literally the coolest dude in earth and I can’t even understand him his cool breaks language barriers
