I will be doing the Osaka-Kyoto-Tokyo route and would like to ask for your opinions on my current itinerary, if they are too packed or can be filled with recommendations. I will be going with friends in May, after Golden Week. I would like to ask if there are any dress codes for shrines and other places as well.
Day 1:
Fly into KIX, estimated time of arrival: 2PM
Arrive at hotel and explore the Shinsekai Area
Day 2: USJ
Day 3: Nara day trip before returning to Namba Station for Dotonbori
Day 4: Going to Kyoto and exploring Gion Street, Kodai-ji, Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka
Day 5: Arashimaya, Tenryu-ji, Monkey Park and finally Fushimi Inari to end the day
Day 6: Going to Tokyo and visiting Asakusa for Senso-ji and Nakamise Street before going to Akiharaba. If there is extra time, I am considering to add in Ueno Zoo + Ameyoko
Day 7: Ginza + TeamLab Planets + Odaiba Seaside Park
Day 8: Disneyland
Day 9: Meiji Jingu + Harajuku and either going down for Shibuya or up to Shinjuku for the National Garden and Hanazono Shrine (likely the latter)
Day 10: Going to Narita Airport for flight back
