The house selection seems to settle, if nothing goes wrong probably this weekend would sign the contract, I saw one of my colleague has solar panel in his house (and joined the grid) which looks good because the electricity price will go up soon, but since his house came with those panels installed which couldn’t tell the cost. I wonder if someone has explicitly done this recently? What’s the cost? And the house I am going to buy has an open rooftop, not sure if the provider can make it like a shelter or it has to stick with roof surface?

I got panels on a ten year lease through Osaka Gas. No installation fee and fixed monthly fee. I’m pretty sure you need a roof though
It’s costing us about 3,000,000 yen after subsidiaries and tax discounts.
