Best home center along the yamanote line?

I want to pickup some work wear and a small collection of carpentry tools and I’m looking for a one stop shop.

Edit: thank you to everyone who offered help! You all are the best!!!

  1. For workwear look for Workman. They’re everywhere and where all the construction/people who actually work work for a living and need cloths that will stand up to working for a living shop. I’ve also ordered online, the price and quality is exactly what you’d expect (inexpensive and built to last while being abused).

For tools any home center will do – personally I like D2, Cainz, and Viva Homes. All of which have stores along the Yamanote line.

  2. There’s a DCM DIY Place at opened recently at Ebisu Garden Place. The most convenient megastore to the Yamanote line would probably be the Super Viva Home at Toyosu.

  3. While it is not Yamanote Line, Royal Home Center at Minami-Senju is 2 stops away from Nippori. Not as big as a Super Viva at Toyosu, but quite big for Tokyo.

  4. Sorry to hop on the train of “not Yamanote” but “Ken Mart” in Magome (3 stops from Gotanda station on the Asakusa Line) has soooooo many hardware stuffs. It’s like right by the station exit too (Like a 1 minute walk honestly.)

They have A building and B building. Forgot which is which but the one on the side of the station exit is the one you’re looking for.
