Arriving in Japan in 6 days. I would appreciate help/feedback

First timer here! Traveling to Japan with my spouse and 11-year-old kid. I built this itinerary with help from examples posted here, on YouTube, and chatGTP 😎

Arriving at Haneda Airport on March 27th, returning home on April 18th.

I would appreciate your comments, and I know some days are packed. I have flexibility, but I have already reserved all the attractions. I already have my JR Pass, eSim, Suica, etc.

Thanks for your help 😃

  1. I would suggest to buy any attractions tickets in advanced do you high influx of tourist. Right now teamLab is sold out two days ahead.

The Pokémon cafe is fully booked for these entire moment and the beginning of April.

For Fuji get your return ticket asap as well.

  2. You itenary is pretty solid. Seems you planned for a while. I wish you safe and fun travels !

  3. hey i wld really recommend kinkakuji over ginkakuji. i have been to both back in 2017, and sad to say (for me at least), ginkakuji really pales in comparison to kinkakuji

  4. Meiji shrine is next to Yoyogi park. Cat street and Omitesando are also in Shibuya ward (but most people call the area Harajuku.

Hie shrine is not that far from the imperial palace, but on the opposite side of Asakusa and Ueno. Also if you are to finish the day at Skytree, for me the order should be Ueno, Asakusa,Skytree.

Asakusa shrine is next to Senso-ji, do that on the same day.

I would start the day early and Miyajima first, lunch, move to Hiroshima for peace museum then you have more dinner options in Hiroshima before going back.

  5. Have fun! Amazing timeline, cherry blossoms have started and its so pretty you could never imagine. Kyoto was best!

  6. How were you able to get tickets to Ghibli museum? I tried for an hour but couldn’t make the site work.
