I suffer from a chronic joint disease and just arrived in Tokyo for the first time ever. I directly went to a pharmacy to get some cool packs (in Europe, “cool packs” are plastic bags filles with a blue/red gel) but to my surprise, they don’t sell them. Do you have any idea where I can get such cool packs? I would appreciate any help, I really need them to prevent my joints from swelling after walking :/ Thank you!

You should be able to find instant cold packs in the pharmacy type stores
This might not be a solution but did you try googling the item and showing a photo to a pharmacist? I tried cool pack Japan and *something* came up.
Would the fever cooling gel sheets work for the time being? They are readily available at pharmacies
