  1. lots of different neighborhoods in Osaka for day 1, ok if you dont mind walking and want to do a little bit of each but you can easily pick 1 or 2 and fill the restof the day after osaka castle.

dont go inside Osaka castle imo just explore the grounds around it. inside is a modern museum, i enjoyed it but it was not as cool as the exterior grounds.

denden town is kinda small, dontonburi is huge. i think dontonburi after the castle would make for a full day. kuromon is also not huge, just a small arcade and pretty expensive when compared to random restaurants where i got better good.

shinsekai is dope, and harukas 300 is cool too, grab food there from the 14th-16th floors. no need to go to the tip top unless you really enjoy views. theres plenty of better spots for that tho.

get the express pass for Universal, its almost the cost of another ticket but i waited 3 hours for one ride that lasted a lil over 1 min. make sure you get the app so when you arrive you can scan you ticket and get a spot at Super Nintendo Land. Harry Potter land has a hippogriff ride thats just a little kid rollercoaster, skip it. i went yesterday so if u need more tips just ask.

for food in Osakai suggest two spots that blew my mind.

Sakae Sushi, opens late, 5pm and stays open till like 7 am the next day. try the tiger shrimp for a wild experience, no spoilers but it was too cool. try the cheese topped salmon too. so good.

franken ramen is prob my fav ramen ive had other than 2 am random spots that i stumbled into. they put a slice of strawberry shortcake on top of one of their bowls and tell you to mix it in, thought it would be wild tasting but it was pretty much perfect flavor mix.

other than that theres a 10 yen cheese coin spot, Okonomiyaki and tako yaki everywhere. i havent had either be bad at any restaurant ive tried.

ive spent all this month in Osaka and ive only had one bad meal cause the chef didnt like foreigners but other than that everyone was excited to see and talk with us. i cant help much with other spots but ask anything about Osaka touristy spots and i can help. I just wish you had more time to wander around and stop wherever looks good. thats been my fav part.

drink lots of draft beer and get Kirin Strong from convience stores, sit somewhere in dontonburi and people watch while you drink. everyone is really stylish here so bring some cool clothes if you wanna fit in. or buy some from a place called Second Street, its a chain of used clothes (not the ones in dontonburi tho).
