Missing Tax Receipt for PR (spouse) Application.

Hey everyone,

Sorry to ask what seems like a basic question, but I couldn’t find anything clear online.

I’m going to apply for PR (through Spouse of Japanese National), but after obtaining pretty much all the required documents I’ve noticed that I’m missing a couple of my “inhabitant tax” receipts for 2022. I 100% paid them, but can’t find them anywhere.

I have all the rest from the past years, but I realize not having these could result in a denial.

Any recommendations? Like should I add a note with reasoning or is there any other way to provide information that I did pay them on time.

  1. Tax receipts usually can be obtained from city hall, using your myna card at the conbini and/or the tax office.
