This year is gonna be my first time viewing the Japanese sakura! I’m currently living in saitama and wondering if anyone has good Sakura spot suggestions!
Nakameguro is a bit far from Saitama, but sakura is very beautiful , and you can have yourself a cup of coffee at the bigeest starbucks in Tokyo there. Highly recommend
Kumagaya has beautiful cherry blossom along the river and in Manpei park (the original spot of the river bank). They were just starting the blonde when I visited at the weekend, but might be a bit damaged by the rain today.
Sumida Park in Asakusa, Nakameguro, Seiseki-Sakuragaoka in Tama

Where exactly in Saitama? Saitama city, or the prefecture? Can you drive or limited to public transport?
There are beautiful spots everywhere, especially for the first time. The best is to go in a group and have a picnic, or do a boat ride on a channel full of the fallen flowers.

Try putting 桜埼玉県 into Google. You’ll find entire lists of parks with sakura trees.

[権現堂桜堤](https://www.satte-k.com/event/sakura/index.html) in Satte is famous for being the setting of a movie called dolls, directed by Takeshi Kitano.
