Kawaguchi-ko and Hakone from Kyoto

Hi guys, seeking for an advice as a first timer travelling to Japan in a group of 5 later this June. I’m planning to have 2 days to explore areas of Kawaguchi-ko and somewhere near Hakone. Perhaps these are the highlights that we may want to explore:
– Oshino Hakkai
– Oishi Park
– Gotemba Premium Outlets
– Owakudani (if time permits)

I’m travelling from Kyoto, and my current plan is to travel from Kyoto in the morning and aiming for a half day (perhaps just visiting Oishi Park + Chureito Pagoda if time permits) then stay near Kawaguchi-ko. Maybe we firstly put our luggages in the hotel before visiting the places.

The second day, we will visit oshino hakkai + gotemba premium outlets, have lunch, then exploring owakudani, before continuing our travel to Tokyo in the late afternoon-evening. We may need to rent some lockers in a station to store our luggages.

Do you think this is a feasible plan in terms of convenience, time, and cost? Because I’m not sure if it’s easy to find lockers in or nearby a station for our second day.

Or is it more feasible to travel to Tokyo directly from Kyoto, then just have some day trips from Tokyo to those places?

Any feedback is welcome. If you have any recommendations for other places to visit nearby, please leave them in the comment as well. Cheers!
