1. Not really. Your best bet is to socialize a bit and see where things lead.

   If you want to date other gaijin, get involved with an activity that is less popular with the Japanese.

   If you want to date Japanese people, learn Japanese first. Otherwise things will be way more difficult for both parties.

2. Bumble has woman make first move and in japan seems to attract women looking for a date combined with an English lesson.
   Not sure your gender or race so not sure if that applies to you

3. International parties and The Hub.

   Plenty of ladies who are perfectly happy to communicate in English or body language.

4. International parties and meetups, many of which are just thinly-veiled hook-up events.

   Apps – lots of English speakers on Bumble and OK Cupid.

   I dunno if they still do it, but Exeo International used to do a speed dating event on Fridays for foreign men looking to meet Japanese women, and vice versa.

5. I met my gf on that language exchange app, Hello Talk. At first it was exchanging in different tongues, now it’s swapping tongues! Hello Talk is the best dating app!

6. Bumble works perfectly. Lots of English-speaking Japanese professionals on the app too.
