Deciding where to live

Hey guys so i’m moving to Tokyo at the end of the year and have finally found 2 places where i’m able to live but am so torn about which of the two to go with so i’ve come on here to hear your guys opinions.

So i’m torn between two apartments. Both are amazing pretty much equally with slight different pros and cons.

One is in the heart of shinjuku right next to shinjuku station and is a amazing apartment.

While the other is probably a better apartment in a good few ways however it’s in between shinagawa and ota city.
All i’m worried about is that this one isn’t going to be the busy tokyo city life i had in mind compared to shinjuku but then again i don’t know a whole lot about this area.

Which one would you guys pick and why?

  2. Considering how much I hate Shinjuku station and everything around it I’d probably go for the other one.

Where are you working/studying? Which apartment gives you the easiest (fewest transfers) commute?
