Japanese language school

This is my throw away account btw.

I am currently in Japanese language school in Japan. I don’t like their curriculum even after making it through one semester here, I think its a waste of time as I am making very little progress and am thinking of self-studying and do language exchange while I am in Japan instead to learn as much as I can.

Since I am here on a student visa and I don’t want to go through the process of changing my school. I was wondering If anyone had similar experience where I just show up for class minimum required do my best when I am in class even though I might fail my last semester at the school but study on my own via my preferred method which is minna no nihongo? I paid 6 months and can’t get a refund. Trying to make the best of it.

I am about at my wits end and would think I would actually learn more just studying on my own.

Anyone else have any similar experience. Thanks

  1. It’s a waste of time, but you’ll fail if you don’t study? It sounds like you should get your money’s worth and do the process that you’ve already agreed to.
