You could also try [LingQ](https://www.lingq.com/ja/learn/ja/web/reader/3598967)….that link should take you to an N2 level podcast….there are a lot more N2 level podcast and it should be pretty easy to follow as there are also transcripts….I didn’t really use LingQ to learn Japanese….so idk how to turn off romaji on top of every single character (I tried…it’s a bit annoying and might put off some people myself included)….but at least it’s worth a shot 🙂
4989 American Life is probably the best for this range. Maybe a little tough if your more on the N3 side, but definitely manageable. Best of all, the host posts scripts for every episode on her website. ひいきびいき is also in this range, but the podcast ended awhile back so there are no new episodes.
シノブとナルミの毒舌アメリカンライフ
Might be a bit closer to the N2 side as the hosts talk a bit quickly at times. I haven’t listened to it in a while though, but I had no trouble understanding a few months before I took my N2 (ended up passing). So, I’d say that this would be a good level for you.
I’m usually not one for podcasts, but this one never failed to entertain me. One thing to take note of is that the hosts sometimes refer to stuff happening in their social media or something outside of the podcast that I don’t follow. This might throw you off at times.
With that being said, I’d recommend this to anyone who is confident in their listening abilities. The hosts are confident in what they say, so it makes for an interesting time hearing their opinions on whatever topics they end up touching upon. They also have had their own fair share of stories that I think would capture anyone’s attention.
