How do I realistically get back to Japan?

Hi everyone, I’ve had this love hate relationship with Japan and Japanese in general but after some thought I’ve eventually decided that it’ll be a part of me for the rest of life essentially so I might as well ask you guys for some input on how to get back to Japan in my current situation.

To give a little bit of background, I’m 18 and have been studying Japanese for well around 3 years now. I went to Japan on an exchange for 8 months for high school and have just returned to the States. I’ve been wanting to get into IT and maybe begin a business but eventually I would like to bring my life back to Japan seeing as I put a solid 3 years almost to get to fluency. I can read, speak, write, and consume Japanese content very comfortably. I’m willing to enter a Japanese trade school/専門学校 or a university of some kind but a日本語学校 and from what I heard about Temple, these are out of the question.

Is there any realistic way I could get back to Japan and live a relatively successful life there without getting into a ブラック企業? Thank you.

  2. 1. Get a bachelors degree
    2. If you get into IT, do that and grow your career in the states for a few years
    3. Get hired into a company in Japan doing “IT” with your new found few years of experience under your belt.

  3. If you go IT, if you’re into support area you will need top notch japanese. Otherwise, if coding they sometimes forego the japanese requirement provided you’re good at the language you code at.

  4. You’re going to need 5+ years in experience in IT plus a degree. You’re going to need Engineer experience not Support or basic SysAdmin stuff.
