Can somebody break down 「立たねばならぬ時」for me, full context: 「妖精を持たぬ子が立たねばならぬ時が来たようじゃ。」. I understand the ぬ and 時 part, but can’t figure out what combination of words it’s made out of.

What’s the story behind 風俗 being used for sex work? Ran across the word 風俗嬢 for female sex worker playing 龍が如く７ today and it kind of surprised me that 風俗 could be both manners and sex work.
So 太陽についての本 doesn’t make sense to me. Sun and book should be opposite. They aren’t verbs.
What’s the difference between passive verbs and intransitive verbs? For example: 車が止められた and 車が止まった
Hi,greetings fellow learners.I used to learn Japanese back in 2009,up until N1 level (I got N2 JLPT),recently I have been trying to get Japanese Speaking jobs,but my speaking,reading and comprehension is tremendously degraded due to not practicing. I failed my interviews for quite a few time already,so I wonder if anyone has the same experience? How do you guys make practical study schedule to brush up your Japanese Language skills? Would really appreciate if I can get a few tips here and there.
