1. 54 years old and still a fighting champion. Slowed down but the intensity and realism is still there. Gotta love Yuji.

   If I’m completely honest though, I’m kinda mixed on Third Generation going around and winning everyone else’s belts. Kojima and Nagata are great, but is business so slow in AJPW and NOAH that they need to use the 3G Dads to prop up their cards?

3. I need to see Kojima v Nagata for the TC

Part of me wishes the dads (Tiger Mask included) shouldn’t always be on the nooj undercards because they can still go, maybe except Tenzan who still can work multimans but is in no way able to win a singles title. Quite telling when you have decorated vets who’ve been away from their own title scene come into your promotion and then make a splash by winning the belt right off the bat.

   Okada could have a filler WHC defense against Nagata and it’s just them bringing their grouchiness to the next level.

6. Nice to see Nagata’s run being treated more seriously than NOAH treated Kojima’s.

7. Match was fun. I’m guessing Nagata drops the belt to whoever wins the CC in April. Hoping for Shotaro Ashino.
