I read this and thought “I’ve never thrown out an umbrella…”
then remembered I bought one after getting off the train in Nanba or someplace, and somehow it had disappeared before I boarded again. LOL

Everybody I know has about 20 umbrellas. You can’t give them away. My work keeps wrapping them up yearly and throwing them away.
XD Japanese have more umbrellas per capita than Americans have guns.
