Checked the “Limousine Bus” and the Keisei Bus, the earliest one leaves at like 7.50am arriving at Haneda exactly 5 minutes after my flight has already left. Yikes.
Anyone got any Airport Taxi recommendations? 2 people. 2 big bags.
I guess the other option the train, but that somehow ends up taking longer after unavoidable transfers. (Bus: 1 hour 5 mins, train 80 minutes)

Go the night before and stay somewhere cheap in the area? It’s an option if you aren’t able to find early transport
?? Yes the trains take slightly longer (minutes) but they also start at 5am. What’s the issue?
Train the night before and cheap hotel will be much cheaper than a taxi from Chiba to Haneda. Plus less stress
I had to stay at a hotel near the airport the night before. Couldn’t make it there in time any other way.
Concur with the others. Avoid the stress and stay nearby the night before.
If your flight is leaving at 8:50am and train is not an option for you, you are best off to stay close to the airport the night before. You will need to complete (not line up, complete) check-in at least an hour beforehand. Staying nearby should be about the same as a taxi.
Taxis/hire car will all be about the same price.
As everyone else said: don’t be cheap and stay in a (cheap) hotel the night before. Kamala has plenty.
0 stress and you can say goodbye to your area in a nice way, enjoy a cheap washoku set and a beer on the final night and wake up at 6. Easy peasy.
Stay in Haneda terminal 3 from one day before i did this two weeks ago, you can sleep on the benches and put an alarm for when you need to wake up, you will be tired but hey! It’s free.
That bus is almost 100% going to take longer than the train once you hit some traffic.
Had a flight 8:50 am too.
Went via train from nippori (skyliner). It was about 40-50min i guess.
Before nippori, all the way from asakadai to ikebukoro to nippori😅. Reached airport around 7:45
From my personal experience, MK taris are the best in terms of service and price. I always make reservations with this company when going to the airport. In case you don’t know MK taxis are the ones with the heart shaped lights on the roof!
Sent you a DM.
Royal Park(?) Hotel is access via terminal 3. A bit of cash, but lots less stress.
These are the problems I wish I would have…
Go somewhere near the night before and rent a hotel room, it’s cheap.
Why didn’t you book a flight from Narita?
OP here.
Thanks all for the advice / sarcastic comments!
I decided to stay at “The Park Royal” which is inside Terminal 3.
30,000 a night for 2. Ouch.
Side note: is Japan the only country that charges by person In a room rather than per room?
Same room, same bed, is half the price if it was just one person….
