JP Bank services unavailable over golden week (May 3-6)

1. Yeah, they emailed me that they’re stopping the debit card service over the same period as well. For those who don’t know, once you get the debit card, it replaces your cash card, so better carry your bank book with you and use post office ATMs to withdraw… oh, wait, those are going to be closed, too most likely.

2. Ahh… The future. It’s 2023 and ATMs still close for holidays.

3. Japan is the only place in the world where I have seen websites shutdown outside of business hours.

   It’s strange that a country that used to be so good at tech has fallen so far. Like permanently trapped in the 90s.
