So I am currently studying at a japanese language school and am planning to study at a university here in Japan. Thing is, I don’t know how to prepare for admission into a university. There are EJU applications open right now, but since I woud say I am not prepared for math, physics or chemistry. Should I apply for it either way or wait for next year to be more prepared? Or should I just apply for the Japanese Language part? As you may have seen I am pretty confused and lost on this topic and google hasn’t ben quite the help recently so that’s why I decided to ask here. Universities I currently have in mind are 東京電機大学、東北学院大学、長岡技術科学大学 and 中央大学。Some of this are pretty hard to get admitted as far as i have been told, but I haven’t been able to find out much about since I just cant find to understand any universitie’s website yet.
I hope this was not a dumb question and thanks if you took your time to read ^^

How did you come up with this list?
All 4 are private; their competitiveness is completely different, two are in tokyo, two aren’t.
Perhaps in order to get better advice, you could say what you want to study and which job you are aiming for. Also if you have some kind of preference regarding university : place / price / reputation / …
This way perhaps people could give you more relevant advice.
Good luck
depending on your preferred major some other universities have an international track that you can apply to leveraging your home country transcripts, SAT/A-level/IB scores and English certification (TOEFL,TOEIC,IELTS) so you dont have to sit for entrance exams
If they have an international track you could us your high school transcript (SAT score, A-levels, IB, etc) + proof of English capability (TOEFL, TOEIC, etc).
If they only have a Japanese track then you will probably have to sit for the entrance exam.
It honestly depends on the major and university you look for. You should be checking the university website for the entrance requisites.
