In the process of moving to Tokyo. Need a temporary storage solutions to store my items for a few days in Tokyo before I can move in.
I was thinking of mailing but I’ll drive to Tokyo anyway and drive back home to return my car, then return to Tokyo with the Shinkansen.
What are some options or companies I can use for a few days storage?

Can you share the amount/sizes you are looking to store? The answers you get will vary massively depending on whether it is a few suitcases or an apartment full of furniture.
If you can pack it in cardboard, send it by courier (e.g. Yamato) to your new address. Then set the delivery date for a few days later.
They will keep it for a few days (up to 7 days for Yamato) and then deliver it on the date you specify.
