While I would agree in the pronunciation, not so sure about grammar. Grammar, be it in Spanish or English are both too different from Japanese…but pronunciation, although not 100% the same, is definitely more similar…I unfortunately don’t have resources in Spanish other than [reverso](https://mobile-dictionary.reverso.net/es/japones-espanol/) (dictionary) as I learned Japanese from English….but just wanted to mention that about grammar.
Because of only the pronunciation being more similar and nothing else, I would still recommend learning from English as there are a lot more resources available
Frankly there are not a lot of Spanish resources.
There are some shared phonetics but not everything, such as pitch accent. I can’t say I noticed many grammar similarities but maybe there are some.
So, I would use English resources but transition to pure Japanese as fast and as much as you can.
