  1. i have to admit Japan is culturally closed and need to start making changes in society

reading the articles, problem is rather him ignoring the process to be accepted by the school. maybe still difficult thing of his age but at least asking teacher for support and explaining about his cultural background to the school could’ve done in advance.

  2. What a shitty, dishonest, clickbait title. This was already an inflammatory subject just on its own, but to frame it in such a dishonest way is to poison the well so that no progress can be made on the issue at all.

  3. Tbh what do we expect? It’s japan after all
Not to blame the boy, but he probably knew it would happen and do it as a sign of rebellion
He should already know japan nails got hammer down cultured if he did graduated

  4. Looks fantastic. Nice and clean cut. Wonderful. Japan is a fucked up place when it comes to anyone that is not born bread and raised in japan…well, excluding indigenous or burakuman

  5. Unfortunate this happened but as more situations like this arise maybe Japan will learn how to deal with them a little better. Diversity is not Japan’s forte and this is probably all new to them. Gotta start somewhere. Learn from it and move on.

  6. For all its greatness in food, design, industry and social order, Japan’s overall treatment of foreigners is still in the dark ages. With still such a small percentage of Gaikokujin in the population, we aren’t even seeing the tip of the iceberg when it comes to racism. More to come, thats for sure.
