  1. hey what is your budget for this trip in your currency? i’m also planning a trip so just wanted to know

  2. Its feasible but I would suggest cutting out some places. The itinerary looks very packed and I feel like you’ll find yourself very pressed for time and not actually able to enjoy the various sites. For Kyoto, the Nishiki Market can actually be with Kiyomizu-dera since its relatively close together. The Starbucks isn’t really worth a visit because there’s nothing special in terms of drinks or food and you’ll never be able to find seating upstairs. I went in twice in January-February and got nothing. I did enjoy wandering the streets from Kiyomizu-dera through Nineizaka to Yasaka Shrine, back down to Gion and Shijo. Did it once during the day and one more in the evening when everything was lit up. Walked back to my hotel every night from Shijo.

  3. No reason to visit Ameyoko and the shops there when you are doing shopping in Osaka as well. I would cut that out and go to Yanaka & Nezu Jinja instead. I would also personally cut out Sensoji, but that’s a generic tourist bucket list item so I guess go with it.

Itoya is overrated, overpriced and often too crowded.

Mt Fuji is a gamble. I would either spend my time exploring Kawaguchiko or head to Kamakura and Enoshima.

All the places you’re going will be absolutely packed.

  4. For the Kirby cafe, make sure you make a reservation before you go. They are pretty booked almost every month.

  5. What the hell, this is not even a question and got approved? I tried to post mine 5 times and got blocked every time because my question was not precise, undefined and what I was asking wasn’t “the job of the community to answer” (moderator’s line). Like, I’m about to do my first travel out of my home country, will be a solo trip of 38 days and have spent every bit of my free time planning it, not counting the hours I put into refining a nice thread with a good layout to ask suggestions here. But moderator said no. Five times 🥲

    (Anyway, wish you the best)

  6. How do you even know all these places? I plan to go to Tokyo and just be there lol maybe visit else where if I find out how but sheesh
