Did you try the hard off over there?
Most Bookoffs usually have at least 3 or 4 ds’s. Also a bit pricy but Super Potato is bound to have ds’s for sale.
Amazon Japan still seem to have some.

Hmm just a warning that if you do buy hardware from Japan, all of the physical hardware you buy from other places won’t work like games won’t work for the region lock. At least that’s what happened when my friend bought a Pokemon game in Japan for his USA Nintendo switch .
