Hello guys. I would like to know if there is any webtoon application with a japanese translation so that I could improve my japanese while being on the subway for example. Manga scans aren’t really practical outside… I don’t know where to search, since a lot of application have their webtoons hidden behind a pay wall. I would like an application like WEBTOON (I’m so sad this one doesn’t have a japanese translation…) where most episodes are free and it’s only the latest that aren’t free. If possible with furigana too, but since manga have them I don’t think there is a difference 🤔

WEBTOON actually *does* have fan translations if you’re fine with that. I can’t speak for translation quality, and most series aren’t translated completely, but they at least exist. Tower of God for example is almost completely translated. I only access it via PC, so don’t know if you can navigate to it via their app, but it should hopefully be fine via browser on mobile too.

Instead of looking for Korean webtoons translated, try the Japanese ones, not saying either or is better because I’ve never read a Japanese one but it must be easier to source those in Japanese.
