First Mid-level IT interview.

I have my first mid-level IT interview, where there will be questions in english and Japanese. It’s for an Infa Tech lead position.

Does anyone have any advice or what kinds of questions I might be asked for a mid-level position?

Update: I passed the first interview spectacularly!

  1. Hard to tell without more info but I would recommend preparing the n a way that you are able to speak about your experience and contributions in both English and Japanese. Make sure you are able to speak about all the technical terms in both languages too.

  2. TBH I have no idea about the Japanese side. Realistically, given their poor interview process in general (unempirical), I’d just be ready to speak in Japanese.

For the English side, review the company’s corporate BS, stuff like “values” and mottos and whatever, and have concrete examples of when you displayed that value. For example, “One of our corporate values is ‘always putting the customer first.’ Can you please give us an example of when you did that?”

  3. I’d go to some site like Preply & book some Japanese teacher with a business background for a few sessions to go over your interview in Japanese. Record the sessions & practice.
