Nakamoto is a guilty pleasure of mine. But I need to cancel everything after if I have anything above a level 6, because I’m going to need a couch to lay down and suffer for a while.
Man that egg is fucked
I’m sure the ramen itself is good but that egg is very over cooked.
I usually fill the pot with maybe 1-2 inches of water (only enough to go halfway up the eggs), bring that to a boil, then add in the eggs, lower the heat to medium low, cover and cook for 7-8 minutes. After that, put the eggs in an ice bath to stop them cooking. You want the yolks to still be runny/jammy.
If you have a couple hours, I would shell them and place them in a ziplock bag with a generous amount of soy sauce and a bit of mirin, and let that marinate in the fridge. Often I’ll do that when I don’t have enough time to prepare a more involved lunch for work, since I can just set a timer and leave the eggs while I get ready, so I can zhuzh up the regular old instant ramen I keep in my desk drawer.
