Urgent Help Needed!

I am really worried after discovering how vast and overlapping the grammar for N3 is. It is really huge and the thing that I lack the most is in grammar. Please tell me how should I cover Japanese grammar for N3. My exam is on July 5th. I can allot maximum 2 hours a day..please help me!

  1. Did you just start studying for N3? I mean, you can always use something like Nihongo Sou Matome (only the grammar book) for N3….and you will be done looking at all grammar points by June…..but that does not mean you will know them all by then… you could also use an app like Migii (ios, I think they also have an android version). They have a roadmap to get you ready for each JLPT level which covers all points in the JLPT (grammar, listening, reading, kanji), but I’d be careful with learning to read words from there as they often use wrong readings (primarily in their reading sections)…but at least for grammar they are pretty good at showing them in action

  2. Follow the advice of others here – I did not do lots of grammar studying. I would like to add that actually using the grammar as simple sentences and rotating through the ones that give you trouble will really help in cementing the differences between them. Things like というのは and というのも and ところから gave me issues for longer than I’d like to admit. Flashcards are great, but if you fail them repeatedly go looking for more comprehension in other places.
