“phonetic inventory”はなんと言う?

Hello! Seems like I’m becoming kind of a regular here. I am writing a paper on phonology (in Japanese) and I cannot find a translation for “phonetic inventory”! Does anyone know the proper term?

音韻論について作文を(日本語で) 書いていますが、「phonetic inventory」の翻訳が見つけられないんです。適当な用語を知っていますか?

  1. Do you want phonetic or phonemic inventory? A phonemic inventory is 音素目録, and phonetic inventory is afaik only something speech language pathologists use to discuss childhood language acquisition, but I suppose you’d call it 音韻目録.

  2. Not my field, but if you aren’t aware of it yet, I’d recommend looking at [https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/browse/-char/ja](https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/browse/-char/ja)

You can either look for researchers you know are in the same area and see how they write things, or check translations you’re thinking of to see if/how they are being used by native speakers.

suggests 語音表 (this seems to specifically be a dictionary for speech therapists looking to undrestand terminology used in English sources: [http://stkenshikai.fc2web.com/dictionary.htm](http://stkenshikai.fc2web.com/dictionary.htm) )
