Shime Saba(Pickled Mackerel) Brands? I have Mitsuwa and Hmart nearby, and I would like to make some shime saba sushis either from unpickled frozen saba or a pickled one. Would greatly appreciate any recommendations! Pic is saba nigiri sushi, isobe maki, sashimi, and bou zushi.

I recommend you go to a local fish market and buy fresh mackerel. You need clear eyes and red gills and fish with those qualities are usually sashimi grade. Then shime it with vinegar and salt
