Takkyūdo 卓球道

Looking to work with Japanese table tennis players to create an alternative to the hyper competitive de facto TT culture that I experience here in Boston MA USA, where practice rallies would be timed in seconds, rather than minutes, because our culture is shamelessly focused on winning, and i have had enough.

Am I wrong to suggest that the Japanese are more collaborative than us?

The goal is the endless rally. Can we get to 10? 20? 40? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? Can we achieve “flow state” and, like Zen archery, let go of attachment? Can we make Table Tennis more like meditation, and less like combat?
