*I’m gonna start with saying that English isn’t my native language, so I’m sorry for any grammatical errors.*
I’ve recently had the revelation that I could maybe work outside of my country. As your average weeb and trash taste enjoyer, I thought that Japan could be a good destination for that. Eversince then, I’ve been looking for different ways I could spend 6-12 Months in Japan (or perhaps a bit more). I thought about volunteer working or doing an Au pair, but having a workplace or doing an internship has been the most attractive option to me so far.
I found this organization called “World United” ([https://www.world-unite.de/work-and-travel/japan/work-and-travel-tokyo.html](https://www.world-unite.de/work-and-travel/japan/work-and-travel-tokyo.html)) and after reading everything they offer, they seem very much like a scam. They are too good to be true. So far, I’ve only seen 2 people post about them (in this subreddit) and I don’t see any other reviews or blogs or youtube Videos talking about their experience with them. I also don’t see any other website that would have mentioned them in any shape or form, so I’m really skeptical. i tried looking for answers in both English and German, but without much luck. Either way, it’s odd isn’t it? My point is, do any of you here have any experience with them? Are you currently doing something with them or have you used their service?Otherwise, could anyone give me advise on where I could keep looking?Thank you for the answers in advance!

I did partake in their program before covid and had an overall positive experience. Having someone there to help you with all the paperwork and the job hunting for the price was pretty reasonable. I think they previously included a month of rent, but that seems to be extra now (or I am misremembering). Most of the people I met there were staying in the share house for about half their stay and then later tried to move to different share houses.
The things that are not mentioned on the site is that the rooms are quite small, especially the 4–8 people per room. The 4-8 people rooms were almost only bunk-beds with no space whatsoever. I stayed in their Kita Toda Share house, so I can not say anything about the other Share house.
Getting a job was pretty difficult for most of the people. Especially, for those who did not speak Japanese. For most, it took longer than 2 months to find a job. If you are considering it, then definitely have some money in advance, so you can afford it, even if you do not find a job right away. Most companies also only start paying at the end of the next month that you are starting at. Their weekly job-lists and “Job Counseling Sessions” were not that impressive. It did help some, but most found jobs through other means.
Having the ease of mind to always have support for the whole stay and the community that already exists with staying in one of their share houses was at least worth it for me, and I can confirm that they are not a scam. If you have any more specific questions, you can send me a DM.
