Japan Rail Login Problems

I’m having an issue logging into my Japan Rail account… I know I have the correct email address as they have sent me reservation confirmation emails. I picked up my JR Pass yesterday with no issue using the confirmation email they sent me, but I’ve been unable to login to my account to book future reservations. I’ve tried all conceivable passwords, and have tried the “forgot my password” reset option multiple times over the past 12 hours. Haven’t received a single password reset email. My travel companion tried the reset option on her account and it worked just fine – receiving a reset link immediately. Yes I’ve checked spam and all folders. Not sure what the hell is going on and wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

  1. I had the same issue with the password and thought it was weird too. But i was able to receive an email to reset it. If worse come to worse, use ur jr pass’ qr and book it via one of the jr station’s ticket machine. It was easier than queueing for the ticket counter to ask them to reserve and print for you.
