HomeLearn JapaneseWould Imabi and Marugoto be enough to reach N4 from scratch (goes without saying I will be practicing listening and speaking separately)?
This may be a redundant question, I did read the rules. But I read somewhere that Marugoto is great but lacks grammar explanations. So I figured that could be compensated by Imabi. Am I right in thinking that?
The stuff imabi covers goes far beyond N1. In fact, for some things it might actually be the only easily accessible English-language explanation out there. It’s just so dense that most people prefer using it as a reference rather than a textbook.
But yes, imabi will have explanations for anything asked on the N4 exam.
