  1. For kanji I highly recommend the Migaku Kanji God addon if you use Anki already. It will automatically give you kanji cards based on the words coming up in your Anki reviews. You can also set it to go in JLPT order, or several other methods. It works the same was as the popular book remembering the kanji but it’s automatic. It pairs really well with the Tango Anki decks.

For grammar YouTube can be awesome. The best channels I have found are Cure Dolly and Tokini Andy. Cure Dolly has a whole series of videos that are very digestible however I suggest you watch at 1.25 speed because of her audio. Tokini Andy goes chapter by chapter explaining the grammar from Genki. Tae Kim is a great text based guide but I mostly used it for reference.

My favorite grammar resource isn’t free, but it’s helped me more than any textbook. Bunpro is an awesome tool that requires you to type your answer which helps a lot for production (like speaking). I also felt it helped me pass the JLPT N2.
