For anyone that doesn’t know, salmon in sushi is largely attributed to a Norwegian business man, who wanted to sell his salmon abroad. That being said there is umimasu, Sakuramasu and I’d imagine a few more I’m ignorant of that are local to Japanese waters. Anytime I have salmon sushi I like to thank the Scandinavians.
