Tempura & curry


It was my first time making tempura & I couldn’t keep the shrimps straight but it was still 10/10

  1. That uses a panko as a coating to deep fry, it would be an ebi-furai (i.e. fry) to be precise. Tempura uses a batter instead.

    Nevertheless, that ebi-furai would go much better with curry than tempura would, I would devour that plate in a second.

  2. Did you use the curry from the box or from scratch. If from scratch can you share your recipe?

  3. Did you pan fry your shrimp or deep fry? My ebi furai never looks that good. How’d you coat it? Did you do flour, egg, panko?
