Hi there,
I’m currently working fulltime in Tokyo and living in Saitama. I was actually an ALT for about 3 months earlier this year before finding a job in Tokyo.
I miss teaching English and would like to teach, in the most ideal scenario, one Saturday or Sunday morning per week at a cram school or some equivalent sort in Tokyo or Saitama. I don’t have confidence in doing freelance teaching as the ALT work is the only teaching I’ve ever done and I don’t have the resources at this moment.
Does anyone know of a cram school or something similar that would be willing to hire this kind of person? I am a Japanese passport holder so working rights would not be an issue for me.
Thank you in advance.

Definitely Gaba as above person said, note that with Gaba you only get paid if you get booked. No bookings = no pay. But if you want to work weekends then usually its busy because its most people’s day off
TIS Saturday schools. Interviewed with them, did a demo lesson and all, but not experienced enough they said. It was teaching little children, like 5-6 year olds. great pay for just a day a week.
So you have a full-time job but you want to teach English as a hobby on the weekend?
Why don’t you find a girlfriend instead? It might be more fun.
