Long story short, my contract ended on March 24th,and my company did not give me a new offer (contract), but my visa/zairyu last until October this year. Do I need to inform immigration about anything? I’m planning to look for a new job till October
Yes, you are required to inform immigration within 14 days of any job change. I believe this applies to leaving a job but still searching too. Someone correct me if that’s wrong. It’s easy to do, just a single form you can post in or physically drop off.
If you don’t have a new job within 3 months without a valid reason, they can revoke your visa.
You literally received a paper about this when you got your SoR. Yes, you legally are required to notify immigration.
