I’m in my second semester of Japanese in college and want to practice listening/comprehension. Any recommendations for where I can find videos for this? I’d say I’m above beginner level but below intermediate. ありがと!
Not youtube (though I started watching these on youtube) but I recommend [Erin’s Challenge](https://www.erin.jpf.go.jp/en/) They’re a bunch of little slice of life skits. There’s subtitles, transcripts, and activities available. And of course it’s free. 🙂
If you want something a little harder there’s [The Li sisters](https://www.youtube.com/@lisistersch) they’re half Chinese half Japanese and they talk about differences in the two cultures or tell little life stories.
Japanese ammo with Misa is fantastic for grammar her beginner series helped me a lot
[BENJIRO](https://www.youtube.com/@BenjiroJapanese) speaks with Japanese people in real (but a little slower than normal) conversations. Hours of listening practice on this youtube channel that should be great for your level.

Stop using English to search for stuff on youtube. Try some basic nihongo instead, absorb anything you see, even if you are a beginner.
[Comprehensible Japanese](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPdNX2arS9MZ70r0Vi6d6dUazHb_3z2sd) is a good one
Bite sized Japanese. She even puts some vocab in the captions
Japanese With Shun
This is super simple, has hand made subs for when you need them, and you don’t really need to know about the game to enjoy it.
and it’s cute
