Me and my buddy will visit Japan in 3 weeks, and kinda got overwhelmed with all the options and information that is out there.
We have the following itinerary and would like to hear where it could be improved.
We are in no rush to complete everthing, and don’t want to feel like we running from one location to next but we don’t want to miss the main attractions.
**Tokyo:**
Day 1:
Arrive at Haneda tokyo – stay at a capsule hotel rest and explore the area a little.
**Osaka:**
Day 2:
Osaka:
Check in at hotel.
Umeda Sky Building.
Dotonbori at night.

Day 3:
Travel to Nara from Osaka:
Nara park.
Todai-ji.
Kasuga Taisha.
Mount Wakakusa(If time permits).
Nakatanidou.
Return to Osaka.

Day 4:
USJ.
Toyo izakaya.
More Dotonbori.
​
Day 5:
osaka castle.
Shitennoji temple.
Shinsaibashisuji.
Shinsekai.

**Koyasan:**
Day 6:
Grab the World Heritage Ticket and leave Osaka to koyasan(Where to get the Ticket excatly?).
Check in at temple stay.
Danjo Garan.
Daimon Gate.
Kongobu-Ji.
Banryutei.
Okunoin Cemetery.
Gobobashi Bridge.
Maybe move things from here to the next day?

Day 7:
Wake up for the morning ritual.
Head out to kyoto and check in at hotel.
Nijo Castle.
Kyoto imperial palace.
Nishiki market.

Day 8(Not sure if this day is too busy):
Wake up early and ride to Himeji castle(how early?).
Take a train to Hiroshima or Kobe?.
Peace Memorial Museum.
Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome.
grab a okonomiyaki.
Return to Kyoto.

Day 9:
Explore Gion.
Pontocho.
Go to a onsen – Hakusan-yu Rokujo(Or any recomnded tatoo friednly onsen?).

Day 10:
Wake up early and head to Arashiyama.
Arashima Bamboo Forest.
Arashiyama Monkey Park.
Golden Temple.
​
**Hakone:**
Day 11:
Wake up early(again) and go to Fushimi-inari shrine.
Fushimi-inari market.
Leave Kyoto and take a train to Hakone.
Owakudani.
lake Ashinoko and the Tori gate.
Head to Hakone Hotel and leave the next day to Tokyo.

**Tokyo:**
Day 12:
Meiji Jingu
Harajuku
Yoyogi Park
Shibuya crossing
Nintendo Tokyo
Shinjuku yokocho and golden gai at night

Day 13:
Sensō-ji
Asakusa
maybe Tokyo Skytree?(is it really worth it)
Ueno Park
akhiabara(mandarake,animate)

Day 14:
Tokyo DisneySea
Roam Shibuya at night.
​
Day 15:
Renting a car from omoshiro and driving outside of tokyo to Nikko maybe.

Day 16:
Shinokubo Korea Town
Sunshine City
teamlabs?

Day 17:
Deprat Narita.
​
Turned out to be kinda long and we feel like some days might be too packed(especially the Kyoto days).

Is it possible to order the JR pass and collect it at the airport?
How do generally pay at busses?with the IC card?
