relevance of older diplomas to profesional training college or bachelor programme applications

Looking into pursuing or continuing a different career path. One possible path would be a move to japan. With first a language school (2year) followed by an application to a higher education profesional training college or bachelor. But my education path presents me with the following questions and how relevant the diploma and/or certificate would be a japanese college due it’s age and or technicalities.

Country of education – Netherlands
Diploma MBO level 4 in laboratory and chemisty. Would qualify as High School Certificate of Graduation (卒業証明書). But it’s more like a Specialized Training Schools Upper Secondary Certificate of Graduation i would think.
HBO certificate/propedeuse in laboratory analytical chemistry. In the netherlands this would allow entry to 1st year university. But this isn’t an official diploma in Japan i think.

Backtracking on [https://www.nuffic.nl/en/education-systems/japan](https://www.nuffic.nl/en/education-systems/japan) this certificate would qualify either as

* Diploma (専門士 senmonshi) obtained at a professional training college
* Associate degree obtained at a junior college (2 years)
* Associate degree obtained at a junior college (3 years)

Thanks for sitting through my description. The crux is i’ve my doubts if the 2nd certificate has any validity in japan. As well due to it’s age (2012). Am i wrong in this assumption? Could this give me an opening into Daigaku Nyūshi Sentā Shiken, (kodo) senmoshi or gakushi?

PS: Working holiday visa not available (30+) or current bachelor degree. Finishing previous bachelor degree in the netherlands is an option. But that is a different path not leading to japan most likely.
