**Planning to move to japan help**
Hello I’m planning to permanently move to japan (25m).
Not sure what my best option is, either I apply for son of a Japanese citizen visa or a student visa and study in language schools around Tokyo.
Which would be easier in my situation (I’m a filipino national)

Forgot to mention I’m currently holding a multiple entry visa to Japan and I’m currently in Tokyo as a tourist
If one (or more) of your parents was a Japanese national at the time of your birth and within 3 months of your birth they registered you with their cityhall, then you may actually be a Japanese citizen already (unless you gave it up).
Child of a Japanese national would be a no-brainer though. There are no restrictions on what work you do, no restrictions on your activities. You’d just need a copy of your parents family registry and some supporting documents to prove the relationship. I believe you’d also need a guarantor in Japan, but that could be literally any one. Ideally a family member but it doesn’t have to be.
