Hello hello! I’m planning a day trip to Yamakoshi, Niigata from Nagaoka Station to see the rice terraces and koi farms. I’d been planning to follow [this](https://www.nomadasaurus.com/yamakoshi-nagaoka-japan/#Public_Transport) public transportation travel itinerary that requires you to take the Clover bus from Muramatsu Kaitenjo to Yamakoshi. When I cross referenced this with another source, it says the Clover bus doesn’t run on Sundays… which of course is the day we plan to go/only day that fits in the itinerary 🥲 That article is a few years out of date, so I was wondering if that’s still the case? If so, does anyone know a) another way to get to Yamakoshi from Nagaoka Station without renting a car or b) another awesome nature-y daytrip from Nagaoka Station that we can use as a backup?
