Is it really that common for children in Japan to life for themselve because Parents have to work a lot?

1. Yes. It’s also very common to see them run to school with toasts in their mouths.

2. No, not at all. Most Japanese moms are forced to quit work, so there are very few with full time jobs outside the home.

   If anything, Japanese moms spoil their children with amazing lunch boxes and smothering amounts of help with homework.
