I know you’d do it by feel when you’re actually making them, but I’m putting in amounts in case the video goes down and I have no idea what I was writing about
Just recently tried hotate and kewpie (not together unfortunately). Loved both! I hope some day to be equipped to take it to the next level like this!
Have you ever tried an otoro nigiri lightly smoked with hay? Put caviar (or similar for a bit of saltiness) light brush of ponzu and a green onion sliver. Magical bite.
10/10 would eat.
This all looks incredible! Just wondering, do you have a favorite blow torch you use?
Love your videos. Keep doing what you’re doing!
I need this in my life
Why am I so obsessed with his videos? Can watch them all day!
This looks amazing
I’m no sushi scientist tho but wouldn’t those jalapeños just completely cover up the scallops’ flavor?
This is absolutely fantastic and S-tier quality post for this sub. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Looks so delicious!
Idk if its the style presented but this feels remarkably easy and approachable. Thanks for the share!
Are the scallops raw? Are scallops safe to eat raw? Would I need to make sure they are frozen or specifically sold to eat raw?
I’ve never heard of torching kewpie – I will definitely be adding that to my arsenal.

I asked chatGPT to improve one of my favorite recipes — it recommended a marinade and adding textures. 10/10

You know it’s either really good or really bad when the last bite doesn’t go to the camerawoman.
