Im in the market of buying a sofa right now and considering this reclining sofa[(191cm)](https://www.nitori-net.jp/ec/product/1148760s/) and my living room is only 6 tatami mat room. What do you guys think? is it too big for a 6 tatami mat room?
Eeeeh. I live with a slightly similar size living room and the sofa is basically just a book shelf now. So only you know how much you’ll use it.
The recliner setting looks nice though
Depends on the specific dimensions of your room but 6畳 sounds quite small for a 191cm sofa, especially a reclining type since you won’t be able to push it against the wall unless you don’t want to properly recline (in which case don’t bother with a reclining sofa at all).
What else is in the living room? Honestly if you can just get a tape measure and mark it out, I feel like you’ll be able to figure it out on your own.
You’re going to have to measure the width and length. Don’t forget to measure at full extension. Seems like your room is too small, but it’s up to you what else you want/need in the room.
This one looks like it needs space behind to extend out. Mine can be put almost to the wall, because it slides out and forward. The website or store will have all the dimensions you need
I’d get a sofa bed. That way it’s a 2 in 1. You’ll save lots of space that way. 191cm in length would fit fine in a 6 tatami room
