  1. Unfortunately the Sakura has blossomed early this year and is currently in full bloom – I wouldn’t expect there to be much left by the end of April.

On the tattoo front, I’m getting one from Toyko Three Tides on Thursday (currently sat in the airport waiting for my flight). I can post an update on my experience once it’s done if you’d like.

  2. The 28th is not ideal as they are all in different areas in Kyoto. Nara is about an hour south of kyoto abs Arashiyama is north west of the city.

  3. See if there are any tickets left to the Miyako Odori (geisha/geiko) dance in April. To me it was a must when I was in Kyoto. 100% worth it.

  4. Team labs is close to the museum of science. I would (and I will may 13!!!) go there.

Osaka. Go eat at kuromon market. Lots of options.

Kyoto and nara on the same day??? Good luck with that. Also Arashiyama and Fushimi Inari are total opposites in the map. Maybe you should rearrange things.

If you are visiting the giant gundam, check the amusement park nearby (I love roller coasters so it’s mandatory to me).

  5. 28… two opposite side of Kyoto, the castle and Nara…. Not happening if you want to see something. Also Shinkansen is likely not the most efficient way to go to Kyoto. And why would you return to Arashiyama the next day?
